Job Description

Chief Executive Officer

With the upcoming retirement of CITT’s CEO of 18 years, the organization seeks an outstanding new leader to continue to expand its membership base and enhance its industry-leading position as an educator. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the successful operations and financial management, team development, strategic leadership and growth of the organization.

With substantive experience in an executive capacity, the new Chief Executive Officer will be an innovative, collaborative, business-oriented leader with a track record of championing growth and challenging the status quo. The ideal candidate is a visionary and self-starter who displays an entrepreneurial spirit and exceptional work ethic. Possessing excellent strategic thinking, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills, the CEO sought will be a forward-facing, influential leader who builds rapport quickly and establishes strong, productive relationships with current and prospective CITT members, students, staff, the Board, educators and business contacts from other industries. Attuned to CITT’s mission, the preferred candidate will efficiently and effectively lead a passionate and experienced team to accelerate CITT’s ability to deliver value to its members and students.

This position is based in downtown Toronto.
