Reporting to and working with the officers of a National Board, the CEO will facilitate collaborative leadership to staff, department managers and all external stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor short and long term strategies to fulfill the strategic objectives of the PGA of Canada. You will ensure that continued enhanced training, education and growth initiatives for each member is aligned and in support of superior member driven service initiatives in accordance with the Association’s overall goals, strategies and brand enhancement on a national and global perspective.
Along with graduate level education and preferably proven association, sports organization or related senior marketing service industry experience, you will possess proven strengths in developing, training and leading staff and management while delivering value based, relevant growth initiatives.
You will be a proven leader with superior communication skills and a flair for marketing along with the innate ability to identify, implement and deliver relevant member based and overall PGA of Canada golf industry growth initiatives Along with this you will possess experience in short and long term operational financial planning and effective cost control.
Knowledge of the latest trends in all aspects of technological application and the utilization and advantages of various social media driven initiatives, along with large scale event planning and delivery would be a definite asset
