The role of the Workshops/Events Administrator is to provide support for CSEP workshops, events and related communications, in particular electronic communications and website updates.
Candidate events:
- Under the direction of the Sr. Education Coordinator, receive Request to Host forms from Instructor-Examiners (IEs), input data and post to website
- Liaise with CSEP IEs regarding workshop and exam set up
- Assist candidates with technical issues around registration
Member events/professional development opportunities:
- Receive and review Professional Development Accreditation requests
- Respond to member Professional Development Credit (PDC) information requests
- Execute various tasks related to PD Days, CSEP annual conference e.g., registration, conference website, name badges, payments, etc.
Internal Events:
- Coordinate staff events; holiday party, offsite meetings, etc. as required
Communications:
- answer incoming calls and monitor memberships@csep.ca for event-related information as appropriate; and events@csep.ca mailboxes
- outbound call as required (for credit card details, information, etc.)
- under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Communications, collate newsletter content and mailing lists for distribution (various electronic newsletters)
- conduct regular review of CSEP website(s); apply edits where necessary
- draft basic communications as required
SKILLS:
Highly proficient in the use of current office equipment, CSEP operates in a Macintosh environment
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
High level of professionalism
Excellent customer service acumen
QUALIFICATIONS:
College diploma or higher along with relevant experience
Functionally bilingual English and French is an asset
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Content (asset)
- Website content management, basic html
- Social Media Platforms
