Chief Executive Officer

With the forthcoming departure of the CRA’s long-serving CEO, the organization seeks an outstanding new leader to take the Association to its next level of achievement in providing the best services and support to members, so that they can provide the best quality care possible to patients. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the successful operations and financial management, team development and strategic leadership of the organization.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative self-starter who is comfortable with all aspects of association management—from organizing a National Conference, to evaluating programs, to engaging 1-on-1 with members. Possessing excellent communications and organizational skills, the CEO sought will be a genial leader who builds rapport quickly and establishes strong, productive relationships with current and prospective CRA members, the Board, staff, partners and industry allies. Drawing on their substantive experience in membership engagement, the preferred candidate will support and leverage the skills, knowledge and talents of member volunteers to help ensure that the CRA achieves its mission.

The CRA operates within the Greater Toronto Area in a virtual office environment where staff work remotely, with some regular travel to Toronto and other urban centres for meetings. Tech/computer literacy is required.
