Our client, Sonography Canada, is the single national voice for the Sonography profession in Canada.  Representing more than 5,000 members across the country, Sonography Canada is the professional organization responsible for establishing standards for the training, certification, and lifelong education of Sonographers and for advocating on behalf of its members. 

 

Established on January 1, 2014 through the amalgamation of the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS) and the Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP), Sonography Canada supports the profession through providing national credentials and entry-to-practice credentialing exams, supporting continuing medical education primarily through their national conference and the Canadian Journal of Medical Sonography, supporting the profession through policies and professional practice guidelines, code of conduct, and by advocating on behalf of the profession.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director provides leadership for the implementation of the strategic directions aligned with Sonography Canada’s Mission, Vision, and Goals.
