Job Description

The Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC) is the voice of Canada’s relocation industry. A not for profit national association, CERC delivers a wide range of member services to organizations that relocate employees, and the enterprises that provide relocation related services. The Council seeks an energetic and experienced marketing professional to join a small team and help shape the future of the organization and create value added services for its members.

Reporting to the President, the Manager of Marketing and Membership Services will help to establish the overall marketing plan for CERC, ensuring it supports the organization’s strategic objectives in areas of membership growth and retention. This position will be responsible for all aspects of marketing; identifying new channels to market the services and value of the Council; identifying and developing new service offerings to respond to the needs of members; website and social media management; event coordination and developing the CERC brand.

The incumbent will build strong relationships with members; identify development and growth opportunities and contribute to the Council’s success. As the ideal candidate, you will be a seasoned Marketing Professional with a minimum of three years of experience in an association setting or business role.

You will be a metrics driven employee, with demonstrated results in exceeding scorecard goals. You possess maturity, personality and above all are a team player who has worked with teams and volunteers. You have experience in all aspects of marketing with particular emphasis on relationship building; developing value added services; exceptional communication skills and a desire to grow and learn in a fast paced environment.

Your education includes a university degree or college diploma in marketing or business studies, or a combination of practical experience and education.

The position is based downtown Toronto and is accessible via public transit.
