The Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA) is a Canadian not-for-profit association representing all aspects of the market intelligence and survey research industry, including social research, competitive intelligence, data mining, insight, and knowledge management. MRIA is the official voice of market research in Canada. Through powerful advocacy and an extensive communications program, our members actively engage in forging the future of market research. Members include over 1,800 practitioners, small to large research houses, and the many buyers of research services, such as financial institutions, retailers, insurance companies and manufacturers. The industry accounts for half a billion dollars in market research activities annually.

Job Description

Building on successful gains made over the last several years, the MRIA is seeking in their new CEO, a pragmatic leader who will drive meaningful growth for the organization by expanding and engaging its membership and establishing a robust financial base. The CEO will be a strategic visionary who sets a clear, sustainable path for the evolution of the MRIA, and appreciates the demands of operating a growing industry association. She/he will bring to the role the depth and breadth of experience needed to ensure that the Association doesn’t settle for status quo, rather, challenges current thinking, and spurs innovation, thereby continuously adding significant value for its members.
