The Organization:

Established in 1951, the Canadian Society of Association Executives is Canada’s only national organization with a primary focus on supporting the needs of association professionals and the business members who provide products and services to support the sector. With a membership that spans the country, CSAE promotes excellence and professionalism amongst our members who represent industry and professional associations, charities, and issue-specific organizations.

The Position:

CSAE is looking for a Director of Membership & Business Development to lead, develop and implement a member and stakeholder strategy that supports engagement and growth, meeting and expanding the objectives of CSAE.  This leadership position works cross functionally to explore new business opportunities and to leverage programs and services that engage and secure new members, sponsors, and advertisers.

You’ll want to join the dynamic team at CSAE if you are a game changer with:

1. proven experience, education and background in managing business, sales, and sponsorship development;
2. demonstrated success in managing the sales process from initiation to close;
3. experience with lead generation and prospect management as it relates to not-for-profit organizations;
4. the ability to lead and motivate a team towards meeting shared objectives.
