Since 1997, Alberta Conservation Association (ACA) has been dedicated to conserving, protecting, and enhancing fish, wildlife and habitat resources. ACA supports hunting, fishing, and trapping and encourages all Albertans to enjoy, value, and use our diverse outdoor heritage.


ACA is a not-for-profit organization and a registered charity. It conducts wildlife, fish and habitat research and monitoring projects that feed directly into the Alberta Environment and Parks management plans and can form the basis for fishing, hunting and trapping regulation changes. In addition, ACA participates in a range of projects in partnership with our member groups and other like-minded conservationists to help promote and enhance hunting, fishing and trapping opportunities across Alberta.


As Chief Finance and Information Officer you will be responsible for leading and managing the Finance and IT functions and infrastructure. Responsibilities include providing direction, analysis, development and implementation of all policies, procedures, reporting requirements and systems. You will work closely with other managers to identify, recommend, implement and support efficient and cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.


You have an accounting designation coupled with over 10 years of progressive financial and IT leadership experience. You are collaborative and have a strong track record of developing credibility with internal and external stakeholders. You have been touted for your ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals. You have proven your ability to evolve, develop and execute strategies to achieve organizational vision and objectives.
