Manager, Member Services & Professional Development

OVERVIEW

MCABC is recruiting a Manager of Member Services & Professional Development. Our new innovative team member strives to raise the bar in member learning and satisfaction, is a strong strategist and knows how to design and deliver educational excellence, valued member services and tools. It is a transformative and exciting time to join our team. We are reimagining our future – with the Manager of Member Services & Professional Development, we will continue to lead the change for members as we advance the mechanical contracting industry in BC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to):

  • Facilitation, design and delivery of leading-edge professional development programs – virtual & in-class
  • Identification and delivery of business-enabling services and tools for members
  • Staff liaison to specific committees
  • Membership sales
  • Development of key stakeholder relationships and partnerships

 

EXPERIENCE

Business proficiency is a must in this role as is experience in a not-for-profit setting (preferably trade organizations) and delivering on the education and value-add services that enable member success. Experience within the construction industry is a benefit. In addition to at least five years of experience in a similar role, candidates for consideration will have a Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in a related discipline (Business, (Adult) Education, Communications) and/or a CAE designation.
