3 Month Contract Position: Admin/Event Coordinator

Job Description

CIPH (Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating) is looking for an Admin/Event Coordinator to undertake a variety of administrative, event and program tasks. You will assist managers in organizing programs and activities as well as assist in the organization of events. To be an excellent Admin/Event Coordinator you must be organized and detail-oriented. Communication skills and attention to detail will set you apart amongst other candidates.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Support planning and coordination of programs and events, committee meetings, training programs, conferences and trade shows
  • Assist with database updates
  • Prepare and distribute communications to our members via Campaign Monitor
  • Prepare and distribute surveys to our members via Survey Monkey
  • Prepare Board Documentation
  • Handle Social Media posts (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Facilitate webinars through Go To Webinar
  • Provide support to management in the planning of events with attention to detail
  • Experience working with committees/volunteers would be an asset


Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office

Excellent time-management and organizational skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Detail-oriented and efficient

Post-secondary education

Working in a not for Profit environment an asset

Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

Problem-solving ability


3 month contract (with possible full time employment at the completion of contract)

Currently all staff are working remote due to provincial restrictions however following the lifting of provincial restrictions all staff will be working from head office located in Etobicoke (Bloor and West Mall Area)

Salary range: $35,000 - $38,000 annually (benefits would be offered if full time employment is offered after contract completion)
