Customer Service Representative

Mortgage Professionals Canada is the association that represents Canada's mortgage broker channel. With over 13,000 members, membership consists of mortgage brokers, lenders and insurers from every province.

The new team member will be responsible for the smooth and efficient administration of member accounts, as well as providing general support to the Membership Department. They must exercise considerable judgment directing inquiries appropriately within the team and organization, and ensuring all issues and concerns are answered in a timely manner.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Main point of contact for inquiries related to membership, designation and other related areas
  • Produce relevant reports and statistic requirements when needed
  • Efficiently and effectively responds to member needs by phone and email
  • Review and process transactions on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy, and compliance with association policies and procedures
  • Assist in preparing and issuing invoices, account statements
  • Receive and match payments to invoices, and deposits
  • Proactive outbound telephone calls to members and non-members


  • Completion of a relevant degree or college diploma or equivalent number of years of experience
  • Experience working in a membership-based organization (preferred)
  • Patient and diplomatic people and communication skills
  • Skills in CRM systems, Word, Excel, are essential
  • High level of initiative and a strong sense of ownership
  • Above average organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple files
  • Bilingual (French/English) preferred
