Reporting directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Corporate Services – Finance, Digital and Technology (the “Vice President, Corporate Services” or the “Vice President”) is MS Society’s finance, technology and administration leader. Digitally savvy, the incoming Vice President directs, plans and manages the enterprise-wide digital transformation roadmap, IT organization and cybersecurity with a focus on speed and innovation. As the MS Society’s chief finance and technology officer and digital champion, the Vice President takes an innovative and pragmatic end-to-end view of all constituents’ seamless digital journeys. Understanding the importance of information analytics to drive business results, the Vice President implements risk-managed data analytics solutions. With an outstanding record of generating breakthrough ideas and the ability to take calculated risks, the Vice President understands how technology can be leveraged to create community engagement and stand out within the competitive philanthropic marketplace.

An exceptional communicator, the incoming Vice President develops financial and digital strategies to drive business transformation and organizational growth, effectively communicating their possibilities to a wide range of key stakeholders while ensuring resources and financing are in place to support shared strategic and operational objectives. Functional accountabilities of the Vice President also include finance strategy and operations oversight, risk management, technology, cyber security, broad administration (legal, real estate, facilities, insurance), contributing to strategic and enterprise planning, audit, and board, committee and ad hoc strategic projects. A trusted advisor, collaborative team player and strong, supportive people manager with exceptional motivational and communication skills, the incoming Vice President will lead enthusiastic Finance, IT and Corporate Services teams who are capable of executing and delivering on ambitious strategic plans.

The dynamic Vice President, Corporate Services brings a genuine passion for the MS Society’s vision of a world free of MS. An innovative finance, technology and digital leader with strong business, technology, operational and financial acumen, the successful candidate will have at least 10+ years’ leadership experience and a university degree in business, finance, technology or a related field. Experience working within not-for-profit organizations and supporting volunteer boards of directors is an asset. With an appreciation of how technology can drive fundraising and engagement, the Vice President leverages data and innovates technology solutions to provide resources and support to the community the MS Society so proudly serves.
