Sources Community Resource Centres (“SOURCES”) is an internationally accredited, community-based, not-for-profit agency that serves as a dependable source of help, encouragement, and hope for individuals and families in White Rock, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Prince George, Parksville, and beyond.

SOURCES serves its communities in collaboration with various advocacy groups, health authorities, government agencies, local businesses, community leaders, and members. With a committed focus on building stronger connections with diverse and inclusive groups, partnerships are established to improve services at a grassroots level. Over 65 services are offered in an array of languages within communities across British Columbia.

As the first social service agency in British Columbia and the 13th in Canada to be accredited by the internationally recognized Council on Accreditation, SOURCES was most recently re-accredited in 2024 in significant recognition of the high quality of service offered to clients and the community. Many of SOURCES’ programs receive government funding, and many are entirely community funded.  A dedicated foundation raises funds to enhance and support work in community not funded by government.

As the organization continues to grow from strength to strength, and following the successful tenure of a long-serving CEO, the next leader of SOURCES will bring a track record of service and development of others, where they have successfully built capacity in an organization intent on maximizing its impact in community. This is a high-profile, high-impact role for an energetic and future-focused leader who is a consummate community- and relationship-builder.

Based in the SOURCES headquarters in South Surrey – White Rock, the CEO is responsible to the Board of Directors of Sources Society and works closely with the Foundation Board to achieve the fund development goals of the Society.
