The PEI BioAlliance, a respected, not-for-profit organization at the forefront of the bioscience sector, is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and success. Based in Prince Edward Island, the BioAlliance supports a thriving ecosystem of industry, academia, and government partners, delivering innovative solutions in biotechnology, natural health products, and sustainable agriculture.

As CEO, you will champion the execution of key strategic initiatives, including the successful implementation of the BioAccelerator project, which will position the organization as a leader in business attraction and innovation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will oversee a strong and collaborative team while driving priorities such as advancing the cluster model, strengthening public policy influence, and building infrastructure to support PEI’s unique value proposition. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving financial sustainability, fostering an inclusive network, and maintaining the organization’s reputation as an innovation engine that delivers measurable impact.

To excel in this role, you bring strong business acumen, a passion for PEI’s community and lifestyle, and a proven track record of strategic, transformational leadership. Your ability to communicate, collaborate, and build relationships across diverse stakeholders will unite partners and propel the organization forward. Experience in government relations, conflict resolution, and team leadership is critical, while a background in biosciences or biotechnology is an asset but not mandatory. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on PEI’s economy, community, and bioscience sector while building a legacy of growth and innovation.
