The Membership and Communications Manager will be a key member of our dynamic public affairs team. They will utilize their experience and administrative expertise to support the day-to-day operations of several industry associations and assist firm executives with public affairs campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Event planning including registration, and logistics management in advance and and on-site management during events
- Maintaining membership lists and managing renewals
- Supporting members by phone and email
- Board and committee meeting preparation and follow-up
- Expense tracking
- Preparing presentations/reports as required
- Writing bulletins, and other external communications products
- Managing social media presence, including on X, LinkedIn, Instagram
- Tracking issues and legislation
Expertise
- Association background or experience in an administrative role is an asset
- College diploma or Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with social media tools
- Ability to work independently,
Job Type
- Full Time (40 hours per week), in-person out of our office in mid-town Toronto
- Approximately one evening per month
