Chief Executive Officer
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will inspire action and champion initiatives to achieve the goals outlined in CUTA’s strategic plan. Accountable for operations and business planning, you will ensure that the systems, processes and resources are continually enhanced to deliver member value. Core to your role is mentorship and support to the dedicated professional staff in Toronto and Ottawa. You will play an important external role, building relations with members, stakeholders, partners, the media and governments. As the key spokesperson and advocate, you will further strengthen CUTA’s impact as the leader and voice of urban mobility by leveraging the many partnerships has forged over the past 100 years.

You understand the impact/role that public transit and urban mobility play in Canadian communities and the value of a collaborative approach to influencing and inspiring the evolution of integrated urban mobility. With a superior ability to communicate fluently on complex matters in both official languages, you are a consummate and energizing professional with exceptional relationship management skills. You can interact with comfort and confidence with a range of audiences, including staff, an association Board and members, governments, partners and the media.
