Executive Director

The Executive Director, reporting to the Executive Committee of the CCCA, will be responsible for the overall management, finances and day-to-day operations of CCCA.  (S)he will support and coordinate the work of the CCCA Executive Committee in delivering the strategic plan, member relations, communications, external relations, and programs and services for in-house counsel including a national conference and Certification program offered in conjunction with Rotman. The Executive Director will also be a member of the CBA Management Team and contribute to the leadership of the CBA.


The successful candidate will have excellent general management and leadership skills and a demonstrable ability to motivate people, develop consensus and collaboration and build a strong working relationship with volunteers.  You must be able to develop an organic understanding of the in-house legal community in Canada and the competitive marketplace, develop an intimate understanding of the CCCA as a national organization and maintain a close relationship with the CCCA local sections and the CBA Branches.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to synthesize issues and convey ideas clearly and succinctly are required attributes.
