The Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) is the national regulatory body that serves and protects the public by overseeing Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs). ICCRC fulfills its mandate by establishing entry-to-practice requirements of applicants seeking admission into the regulated professions, overseeing RCICs professional development and conduct, licensing professionals, receiving, investigating and adjudicating complaints, and administering a disciplinary process to sanction professionals who fail to meet the Regulator’s standards. It is in this important and dynamic context in which ICCRC seeks its new President and CEO.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President and CEO of ICCRC is responsible for the administration, organization, operation, efficiency and discipline of the offices of the Council. With the support of the Board, the CEO manages the strategic and corporate planning processes of the Council, as well as the implementation of all policies established by the Board. The CEO also serves as the public face of the profession and represents the Council and its members to various key stakeholders. The CEO champions ICCRC’s function as a steward and protector of the public interest in all aspects of immigration consulting and is committed to the success of ICCRC members.

As the ideal candidate, you are a strategic and diplomatic leader with experience leading organizations towards ambitious goals. You have experience working with a Board of Directors and are familiar with governance best practices. You have experience developing strategic and corporate plans and managing budgets. You are a strong networker and relationship builder and have demonstrated experience building partnerships with external stakeholders. Experience with regulatory bodies or immigration law is an asset but not required.
