Chief Operating Officer - Ontario Road Builders Association

Chief Operating Officer - Ontario Road Builders Association (ORBA)

The Association

The Ontario Road Builders Association (ORBA) is a non-profit industry Association representing approximately 300 member companies in all areas of transportation infrastructure. The industry builds, operates and maintains infrastructure for Ontario’s communities including the highways, bridges and roads that connect them. ORBA supports a wide range of companies, both large and small in a competitive industry. Its members include local, national and international construction organizations and associated materials and services suppliers that compete to provide services to Ontario’s construction/infrastructure projects. With a mission to promote and support the growth of Ontario’s transportation infrastructure industry, ORBA serves as the collective voice on issues and perspectives of its sector. It provides valuable insights to members; staying in touch with industry developments and acting as a technical resource, educator, and advocate. ORBA is also a highly visible Association and the issues facing the industry are complex. It promotes a positive investment climate for transportation infrastructure through consultation and collaboration with legislators, policy advisors and industry constituents. In 2016 ORBA merged with the Ontario Hot Mix Producers Association. The combined expertise strengthened ORBA’s position as an advocacy-based Association in an industry that plays a critical role in Ontario’s economic growth and prosperity.
