The Canadian Network Operators Consortium Inc. (CNOC) is composed of 35 innovative and competitive telecommunications services providers that own or operate wireline and/or wireless networks operating in many regions of Canada. The objectives of CNOC is to promote innovation and increase the level of competitive communications services business in the Canadian economy. These services are critical to the ongoing health of local and national economies in Canada and continue to be in high demand by customers from coast to coast. It is within this context that CNOC is searching for a new Executive Director.
As the ideal candidate, you have experience navigating government bureaucracy in order to influence and advise on public policy issues. You have a gift for managing a variety of personalities, and are a skilled negotiator, facilitator, diplomat, and networker. You are open, affable, have a high degree of integrity, and will constantly seek to maximize opportunities for CNOC members. You are eager to tell the story of CNOC to regulators, members, and the government bureaucracy. You enjoy supporting Boards to unlock their great potential, and have experience providing analysis, advice, and recommendations to a multitude of stakeholders in a highly objective manner.
