The CAMRT supports its members and provides MRTs with the required competencies to not only enter the practice, but to continually advance.   The CAMRT is seeking their next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to be the driving force behind the organization in order to continue to deliver tangible results to its membership.

Reporting to the CAMRT Board of Directors through the President, the CEO will manage and provide leadership to the organization (21 staff, $4.7 million budget), as well the development of the association’s strategic plan, mission, and vision, while serving as an advocate and spokesperson for the association and its members.  The CEO will work to further define and clearly articulate the organization’s value proposition to both existing and prospective members, with a focus on growing membership in under-represented regions. He or she will focus on building CAMRT’s reputation as a recognized voice for the medical radiation technologist (MRT) leadership in Canada, ensuring the association maintains and further develops relationships with provincial MRT organizations as well as other related professions.  With a broad perspective and vision for the sector, the new CEO will provide thoughtful leadership in the navigation of the CAMRT’s complex stakeholder community, building effective working relationships with media, industry stakeholders, regulatory authorities, government and the public. He or she will bring a fresh perspective to building internal capacity, while ensuring the organization is structurally aligned to meet its goals and address the evolving landscape.

You demonstrate professionalism, credibility, and a desire to make a difference, coupled with excellent communication skills and a true entrepreneurial approach.  Thoughtful, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, you have a track record of leveraging resources to maximize results, and continually driving organizational development.
